The hotel had a mixed experience with cozy rooms offering a disappointing spa bath below expectations and stunning lake views, but with intrusive automatic bathroom features at night. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful for English-speaking guests. The location was ideal only for lake view rooms, but with a pleasant small hotel ambience. The dining options were decent with good quality breakfast but limited variety. Overall, a comfortable stay with some notable drawbacks.
The hotel is quite peculiar with its skylight window that doesn't offer a view, but overall it's decent. The service had some significant flaws with misleading information and lack of agreed compensation. However, the location is lovely, especially for a stroll by Lake Hopfensee, although it is not very cost-effective. The dining experience was a mixed bag, ranging from attractively presented dishes to some odd food choices. On the positive side, the facilities were satisfactory with high-quality products.
The room I stayed in was older than expected and had a window you couldn't see out of, but I couldn't check in until 3 o'clock. On the positive side, it was quiet being at the backside of the hotel.
